Vintage Design
Exquisite roof lamp designed by Carl Fagerlund for Orrephors in the 70s. The body is golden brass and consists of fifteen individual glass pieces Frozen effect finish. The volumetric details in the glass, achieved thanks to the “roarized” technique, make the light staining the stay softly and harmoniously. This lamp is a clear example of the taste and design of this prestigious Swedish house.
About Orrephors Glasbruk
Orrephors Glasbruk was founded on Orrephors (Sweden) in 1898. His mastery in the work of the crystal and his innovative aesthetics immediately granted great recognition. from the 20s of the twentieth century, a new trend in interior lighting arises, using the crystal treated as an artistic piece in lamps and large light facilities, which would lock Orrephors as one of the reference brands internationally. Carl Fagerlund (1915 – 2011) worked as the main designer between 1946-1980. His pieces were characterized by the use of thick and heavy pieces of textured glass. It reached great prestige thanks to its creations of shocking lighting facilities, among which the headquarters of General Motors at the Kennedy Center (United States) stands out.
