George III mahogany credenza-sideboard, the solid mahogany top with beautiful figured grain, the molding edge is cut from the top ( not a separate piece of molding) . The drawers are also solid mahogany having oak secondary wood with the bottom drawers on each side at double depth. The right hand second and third drawer fronts serve as a door with storage inside( see photo) The recessed double doors in the center reveal amble storage, one shelf. The brass bail pulls are original. The plinth molding surrounds the base which is set on concealed original castors ( see photo) . The drawers are lined with blue paper which is quite commonly seen in period furniture. The back is covered with original paper that could be removed on request.
