Vintage Deco Syrococraft With Copper Background: “Traveler Rest”

Syroco was in Syracuse, New York in 1890 specialized in decorative wood carving, It .was best known for molded wood-pulp interior decorations and gift and novelty items that resembled hand-carving. well Known as SyrocoWood, Later they integrated polymers into their molding process and then moved entirely into plastics production.
Syroco was purchased in 1965 by the company that would become Dart Industries. this item probably was made during 1960’s. It was not entirely made with metal like copper or bronze , it was “syococraft.” the only metal is the copper sheet on the back ,shining like mirror. which has been painted by collector artist with acrylic turquoise。
