An elegant antique French porcelain compote dish dating from the early 1900s. It ahs been created in the form of a small soup tureen and features a charming hand painted floral design. The serving dish has a classic shape, resting on a pedestal base with tripod feet created in the style of lion’s paws. The sides of the bowl have been decorated with three face masks of antique roman soldiers wearing helmets. The lid has also been hand painted with flowers and has a small opening for resting a serving spoon.
