The effect is a 1960s design, when see through the point of cross creates a patchwork of colors. Bellissimo.
It’s a piera senza vetro, called roll up techniques where the glass is rolled up the pipe without a blob of glass. Each glass cane and element has to be perfectly fused to the next, this is called rimarginatura and then passed on the counter punty (pontello) and hand opened. Canes are not flattened and they keep a lens effect that makes a great play with light.
