Late 20th Century French Limoges Chantilly Porcelain Cake Plate With Hand Painted Hunting Scene

A vintage French Limoges cake plate with Chantilly decor dating from the second half of the 20th century. The platter has been made from Limoges porcelain and has been hand painted with a delicate hunting scene created in the Chantilly studios. It portrays hunters with horses, hound dogs and deer. The cake plate has two (2) side handles and a contrasting black rim around the border. The underside has been signed with the Limoges manufacturer’s mark and the mention in French “Hand decorated in Chantilly” (décor à la main à Chantilly).
