This solid teak wood low table was crafted from a “Lesung”, a type of mortar used to remove the husks from harvested rice. Lesung are typical cultivation tools found throughout much of the Indonesian archipelago. A narrow border runs the perimeter of the table top framing a stunning hand-carved ribbed detailing. A wonderfully sculptural object to bring warmth to any space. The wood textures and shades throughout add to this tables charm.
