This is an antique Art Nouveau sterling silver hand mirror made by R. Wallace & Sons featuring an exquisite design of Dogwood blossoms. Many designs by R. Wallace & Sons have been collected by American museums. This hand mirror was made to be places on a vanity or dresser top. The original glass is thick and beveled with no breaks. The silvering on the back of the glass is showing discoloration around the edges and the case has a dent on one edge. Mirror is marked on the side “RW&S, Sterling 2000, Pat 1902″ and was made during the Edwardian era. Mirror meaures 9.75″ long and 5.5” wide.
