Stunning Antique Well Glass Light Fittings
Made by Walsall Conduits Ltd in Great Britain circa 1920.
Lights are cast iron construction with “Walsall” makers mark embossed in the top section of the fitting, 90 degree bent iron tube brackets with cast back plate for wall mounting.
Aged brass swing bolt fittings which unscrew to release the glass and access the bulb for maintenance.
A simple and sturdy fitting these were originally designed as weatherproof fittings these lamps were versatile and installed in many locations from exterior of buildings to passageway.
These fittings were removed from a MOD building and used to light external walkways
The lights have been professionally refurbished and all metalwork sandblasted, burnished and coated with three coats of 2k clear lacquer.
