A French lit de jour (daybed) from the 1920s-1930s. This antique French settee features drop style arms on either far end, which when extended converts this bench into a chaise or daybed. The arms have rounded pleating with insert wood panels. This piece, along with the seat cushion, is currently upholstered in a beige colored fabric. Nail head accents decorate the lower trimming of each far side. It is raised on block style feet. This French convertible daybed bench would make a lovely addition to a sitting room or home office.
