A very fine antique Chinese Qing large porcelain cylindrical mug hand painted with floral designs and probably dating from the latter 18th or possibly even early 19th century. The mug has a flat unglazed base with a wide cylindrical shaped body and with a scroll handle to the side applied in relief with small scroll design decoration highlighted with gilding. The body of the mug is decorated with panels outlined in a pate sur pate style white enamelling with floral and leaf designs each containing hand-painted floral designs in colored enamels with further floral designs painted to the body of the cup and with floral garlands painted around the top edge below a simple linear border. The mug is not marked.
In very good condition with minimal rubbing.
