This beautiful warm brown color rustic coffee table or low table originates in Spain and dates circa 1775. The table has a fantastic top that was made from a single board of solid chestnut wood of 1,4 inches thick. The top has a beautiful grain pattern with warm brown color and features many marks of use. The top was joined to the base with hand-forged steel nails. The table base has a simple square, slightly tapered legs, and features three drawers. The drawers have elevated square panels and feature a brass drawer pull. The same elevated panels were added to both side and rear aprons. The table has a beautiful color with a great patina and deep gloss. The grain pattern of the chestnut wood is visible throughout all the wood on this table. The table is very solid and ready for use.
