Here is a wonderful table from the early 20th c. in the Chinese Chippendale style. The table has a double border detail around the three sides, with the back being flat, to go up against a wall. I love the legs! The carved details are so elegant and in great condition. I believe the table is cherry as it has a deep red color, but it could also be mahogany. It is finished in a gloss lacquer.
