A lovely set of ten (10) Chinese export blue and white porcelain plates, Qing Dynasty, late 18th century, China.
The plates measuring 9″ in diameter and are decorated in the blue and white color palette with a central design of three floral sprays of decreasing sizes surrounded by a ribbon border, all in underglaze cobalt blue against a white ground.
The rim of the plates decorated with a double lozenge geometric diaper border punctuated with six amorphous floral sprays, all in underglaze cobalt blue against a white ground.
The rim edges of a cafe au lait glaze.
The back of the plates plain, with a neat foot rim, typical of 18th century wares.
Overall a wonderful decorative set suitable for use or hanging.
