Very unique piece of folk art. Horseshoe parts and elements of horseshoes have been hand forged and connected together along, with other unidentifiable iron parts to create this American eagle. Hand forged talons and head are very well done to form this excellent one of a kind work of art.
The eagle is mounted, realistically perched on the branch of a driftwood base.
The dimensions are as follows:
overall height (including base) = 31 1/2″
overall width (including base) = 24″
overall depth (including base)= 15″
Wing Span (tip to tip) = 31 1/2″
It came from a barn in central Oregon and the people that owned it claimed it was made by their grandfather.
