Italian Neoclassical carved marble architectural cornice finial with circular ball, ringed urn plinth, and resting on a bulbous base with flanking ribbon & swag motif. Finial was one of the original architectural cornice finials displayed on The Exchange building @ the corner of East Bay & Broad Streets, Charleston, SC. Acquired from the prominent Ravenel family in Charleston, SC. Late 18th century.
