Italian 21st century travertine side table each a thick top fitted on a conical base, in the manner of Angelo Mangiarotti. This elegantly organic side table is made from a beautiful natural stone whose architectural structure is not only stable, but beautiful in its modernist design. This side table has no joints and is an example of the result of a gravity interlocking design which Angelo Mangiarotti popularized in his Skipper production of tables in 1971. This tabletop because of its weight stably fit into the truncated conical base. It is truly an ingenious and elegant design.
