Large 10 Seat Contemporary Dining Set with Bespoke Macassar Table and 10 Chairs

Handmade for an exclusive London residence this set exudes class, quality and sophistication with the original price of the set being in excess of £30,000. The large table features an X frame base that connects two highly figured Macassar support frames that have been expertly inset into the top – the colour ranges from dark brown to a dark, deep red brown depending on the light and/or direct sunlight. Everything about this table is impressive from the chrome central inserts in the leg supports to the hidden construction elements that can be viewed from underneath that demonstrate the fine jointing and fixing craftsmanship. It is a solid and heavy table and is presented in good used condition with some minor marks to the top and frame as expected.

It’s matched to a set of 10 champagne leather chairs which have a woven gold, cream and silver thread back. Handmade by Decorus of London the chairs again feature exceptional craftsmanship that combines comfort with soft high quality leather. You can’t really see it in the photos but the leather has a golden shimmering sheen to it which matches the golden threads in the fabric on the back. It’s a beautifully constructed set of chairs that remain in good used condition – one has a small mark to the seat (it is a mark and not a split or tear) and 2 of the chairs have some very small nicks in the leather on the side; all shown in the accompanying photos.

All in all a truly impressive dining set that would take pride of place in any home and would match a contemporary as well as a more decorative style of decor.
