A rare run of oversized flameproof flood lights recovered from a Rolls Royce factory in Derby.
Made by (G.E.C) The General Electric Company in England circa 1950.
These Flame Proof Lights were designed for use in highly volatile areas where exposure to sparks or electrical contact could cause explosions.
Huge heavy grade aluminium lights with superb imposing design have the makers marks and details cast into the body and rim.
A versatile light that can be hung as a pendant or fix from the adjustable polished steel brackets.

What ever the location these lights are a real talking point and make the most perfect feature lights over island and tables.
