Pocket watch, Deroches Brothers. Gilded metal, enamels, etc. Possibly towards the end of the 18th century.
Pocket watch with a case with a transparent glass part and a composition on enamels on the back (two ladies, with a score on a music stand and one of them playing a harp). The white dial features Arabic numerals for the hours and vertical lines and Arabic numerals every 15 units for the minutes, and the text “Deroches”. The machinery has a delicate decoration and, engravings, a serial number and the name Deroches”. Similar pocket watches signed by the Deroches Brothers dated to the second half of the 18th century and examples from “Frères Deroches & Cìa.” of the 19th century.
