Vintage Chair from Correcta, 1950s

This is a beautiful and original “Madame” chair designed by Fritz Neth, manufactured by Correcta in Germany around 1950.
The original fabric is red, short-haired mohair like fabric, and there is wear to the upholstery consistent with age and use. The foam interior has some light surface deterioration (crunching) as one might expect, and there is some creasing to the fabric in those areas. The legs are finished in chrome, with patina.
This chair has four metal legs, outwards pointing. The seat and back are molded from the same piece and curved into an ergonomic shape Seating height: 44cm This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
