Ancient Flemish painting from the second half of the 18th century. Work oil on panel depicting a religious subject, St. Peter, of good pictorial quality. Painting of limited size, for antique dealers and collectors, adorned with a 20th century frame, carved ebonized and gilded (see photo). Particular is the representation of St. Peter, from behind with his gaze turned to the viewer and the keys clearly visible thanks to the contrast of color with his robe (see photo). The painter is good at painting the tears on the saint’s face (see photo). Panel that has some cracks due to aging (see photo). Overall painting in good condition and with a beautiful patina.
