Magnificent pair of 1790-1800 French neoclassical bronze doré tripod-candlesticks made into lamps. Each tripod-leg has an eagle head at the top and a hoof foot at the bottom. The tripod-legs come up from a chased and pierced base. The legs come together in the center to hold a lapis jardinière holding flowers.
