Antique Framed 3-dimensional hand-painted porcelain cityscape is signed by M. Renot, and is a remarkable expression of art! First, a porcelain was cast with full relief outlining the buildings and other elements of the scene projecting out from the background. Next, the artist skillfully applied a multi-hued blue & white color scheme with faint touches of accent coloration to give life to the scene, commemorating a processional centered around the church that dominates the composition, while onlookers in boats observe. Survives in its original frame.
