Early 15th Century Gothic Volcanic Stone Bust of a Youth or Angel. Germany, circa 1400 from the “Weckshapp” of a medieval wall surrounding the city of Cologne (built in 1400). Hand-carved from volcanic stone from the Eifel mountains.
