A fine quality pair of French late 18th century Louis XVI gilt bronze sconces. The two S scrolled arms have been electrified, details include a flamed torch signifying strength and prosperity, tied with a ribbon. Above is a reeded urn design with a flame.

The bulb holder is white opaline.
